Swimming and Waterpolo

A 4 lane 25m swimming pool was opened in September 2007 as part of the new sports complex. Students benefit from swimming lessons from Years 7-11 where they work towards achieving National Swim Awards and learning skills including:

Front Crawl
Backstroke
Breaststroke
Butterfly
Diving
Personal Survival
Life Saving
Water Polo

COMPETITIONS

The School swimming team regularly competes against other schools in London and Borough competitons along with tutor group galas. All these competitions are fiercely contested and enjoyed by everyone.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

The College also provides a scholarship programme link with Leander Swim Club. Pupils are graded by Leander coaches and if at the level required are awarded a scholarship with the club.

Since its inception in 2010 six boys have been awarded the scholarship:

Leander Swim Club

The Leander Swimming Club uses the pool at EBC and provides training for all levels of competitive swimming along with learn to swim programmes.
