Judo
Judo is one of the four focus sports at Ernest Bevin College and students are offered many opportunities to participate in the sport. The school takes full advantage of its two Olympic mat sized dojo and coaches including ex-student and British Olympian Winston Gordon, Balmore Ellis and Eric Bonti, five times British champion.
Judo club runs after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 330-530pm and is run by Mr Gordon. The judo squad and elite players train with Mr Ellis on Wednesday morning at 730am and Saturday mornings 10-12noon.
