House Competition

Year 9 are trialling a new house tournament with the view to replacing the current inter-Tutor group competitions. The aim is to make the inter-college sports competitons more competitive and fair.

Students have been divided equally by ability into six houses named after great British Olympians: Holmes, Coe, Edwards, Thompson, Lewis and Redgrave. House captains and Vice Captains pick their teams for each sporting event held at the end of each half term. The aim is to develop leadership and increase the levels of participation, particularly amongst boys who do not normally take part in an extra-curricular sport.
