U15 Volleyball team make it to National semis

16 May 2013 - 03:11PM The U15 Volleyball squad travelled to Kettering on 18th May for the National Finals. They made it to the semi-finals but unfortunately lost to London rivals, Boswells despite some awesome serving. This new squad with team players from Years 8, 9 &10 did well to make it to this stage of the competition and the experience in getting this far will be invaluable to those eligible to play again next year. Sporting success

22 Apr 2013 - 02:30PM Well done to all our sportsmen who were in action last weekend. The U16 Volleyball team faced Chadwell Heath in the National Championship finals and narrowly missed out in the final set. Joseph Langham-Ferreira finished 3rd in the English Schools Table Tennis Finalsand secured his England call up. And Mr Beveridge ran the London Marathon in under 4 hours! … read more

Table Tennis U16 team in final

25 Feb 2013 - 02:47PM The U16 Table Tennis team made it through the semi-finals of the National Schools Table Tennis Teams competition and will play in the finals on 23rd March in Leicester. The team won the U19s competition last year and hope to be on winning form again. Two players have also made it through to the individual finals in the U16s and U13s age groups.… read more

Active Wandsworth Awards

15 Feb 2013 - 12:37PM Well done to the Judo squad who took four awards including special recognition for Coach Winston Gordon for services to the borough. Sixth Formers Nathan Bawuah and Ryan Gordon both won volunteers awards for their work coaching younger students. The London Youth Games Judo Team, who took gold at the LYG for the third year in a row in 2012, were named boys team of the year.… read more

The U15s won 5 matches in the regional round and now go through to the divisional round which is one stage away from the finals. The U16s also have one more hurdle to reach the finals.… read more

Table Tennis success

The boys from Bevin faced stiff competition from other London schools but showed fighting spirit in making it to Bournemouth. Two bronze medals at Judo Championships
