Sean Davis - Bolton Wanderers FC









Sean Davis joined Fulham as a professional player on leaving Ernest Bevin. He made his first team debut having just turned 17 and went on to represent England at under 21 level. He moved to Tottenham, but injury and a surfeit of midfield players limited opportunities to play regularly. He completed a move to Portsmouth in 2006 and has been a first team regular.

Sean has now signed for Bolton on a three year contract.




Lennie James






Born in 1965, Lennie graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1988. His play 'Storm Damage' won a Royal Television Society Award in 2001.

Lennie has appeared in films, television and theatre and is well respected for his professionalism and talent.



 

 

Eric Boateng

Arizona State University Sun Devils

6'10" center

Was a McDonald's All-American in 2005.

He was selected for the World Select team to play in the Nike Hoops Summit in 2005








Previously at Duke University, Eric transferred to Arizona in 2006-2007 season, but NCAA transfer rules meant he had to sit out a season. He will play in the 2007-2008 season.

Eric left Ernest Bevin at the end of year 11 to attend St Andrews College in Middleton, Delaware.

Honours: High School McDonald's All American Team 2005, Hoop Summit 2005 (World Team Selection), ACC Regular Season Champion 2006, ACC Tournament Winner 2006, NCAA Sweet 16 2006, NIT Elite Eight 2008.

Eric made his debut for Great Britain in September 2006.

He now has 19 Great Britain caps.

Marvin Elliott - Bristol City FC









 






Marvin joined Millwall on leaving Ernest Bevin after year 11. He quickly established himself as a member of the first team squad and played in the FA Cup Final in 2004 against Manchester United. He had the unenviable task of marking Ryan Giggs.

Marvin is now playing for Bristol City FC.









Winston Gordon -Judo

Winston started Judo at the age of 13 having been introduced to the sport at Ernest Bevin. Born in 1976, he gained his black belt aged 16 and has been a regular competitor for England and Great Britain in the 90 Kg category. His most notable win was in the Commonwealth Games of 2002 where he won the Gold Medal.

Ricky Shakes -Ebbsfleet United














Ricky joined Bolton on leaving Ernest Bevin and had a successful apprenticeship there. He then transferred to SwindonTown and had loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Bury. He plays as a wide midfield player or as an orthodox winger.

Ricky joined Brentford for the 2007-2008 season and has now joined Ebbsfleet United for the 2008 season.























 

Jermaine Allen - New Orleans Saints

 

 

 

 

Jermaine played as a running back for Hamburg Sea Devils in the NFL European League. Born in 1983, he played college football at Staffordshire University in the United States. Jermaine previously played for London Olympians and was named as the most valuable player in 2005 after rushing 198 yards on 28 carries in the victory over Personal Assurance Knights.

He joined the Chicago Bears practice squad for his first season in the NFL in 2007. He is with the New Orleans Saints for season 2008-2009







 

Sadiq Khan MP Labour MP for Tooting.











Sadiq Khan was elected as MP for Tooting on May 5th 2005, having previously served as Councillor for the Tooting Ward of Wandsworth Borough Council. On leaving Ernest Bevin, he studied Law and worked as a Human Rights Solicitor.

He is an active MP:

Member of the Public Accounts Select Committee Chair of the All Party Group of Citizen's Advice Bureaux Chair of the Parliamentary Labour Party Home Affairs Committee An Executive Committee Member of the Fabian Society.









































Mike Bowron - Commissioner for the City of London Police                     A former pupil of our college, Mike Bowron was appointed Commissioner in June 2006.   He joined the City of London Police as Assistant Commissioner and Deputy to the Commissioner in September 2002 and was responsible to the operational running of the Force, Public Security, Public Order, Community Policing, and Fraud. He was a Director of the Association of Chief Police Officers' (ACPO) and sat on the ACPO Cabinet.    His police career started in 1980 when joining the Sussex Police, having previously enjoyed a career in the City of London working for a Lloyds Insurance Broker.  Following the Special Course at Bramshill he was promoted to Sergeant and in 1985 to Inspector.  In 1990 he was attached to the European Unit at New Scotland Yard researching the implications of a Europe without frontiers and in 1994 became Head of the Force Inspectorate. Between 1991 and 1994 he was part of a Foreign and Commonwealth Office working party helping to reform the police Czechoslovakia.  In 2000 he was posted to the British Embassy in Jakarta for six months and was given responsibility for separating Indonesian National Police from the Military and carrying out a thorough re-organisation to meet the needs of the new democracy.   Before joining the City of London Police he was Assistant Chief Constable in Kent for 5 years where he was head of the Crime Portfolio.   Mr Bowron currently chairs the ACPO Economic Crime Portfolio, leads on Business Continuity and is Honorary Secretary of Police Sport UK.  He has a degree in sociology from the University of Sussex.   Mr Bowron was awarded the Queens Police Medal in the 2007 Birthday Honours List.
