The refurbished Library and Learning Centre was officially opened in the on Friday 15th February 2007 by John O'Farrell, the Guardian columnist and satirical writer.
The day began with the customary cutting of the ribbon and a short address by John O'Farrell.
The writer who lives in Clapham spent the morning meeting students and reading from his new book,'An Impartial History of Britain - Or 2000 Years of Upper Class Idiots In Charge'.
He took some interesting questions from year 7 and 8 pupils and then worked with A level English, History and Media Studies students.
