The transition from Primary to Secondary school is an exciting time for pupils but it can be a time of apprehension. Not knowing who will be in your tutor group or class, which teachers you will have and finding your way round the school buildings are all challenging experiences.

We have long recognised this and in the first week, a programme of activities takes place to aid the transition of our pupils. For example, on the first day, only Year 7 and the Sixth Form will be in college. Year 7 pupils will spend the day with their tutors undergoing a series of activities to familiarise themselves with the college site, the expectations, their tutor group, their Head of Year and of course their Tutor.
