We are a partially-selective Specialist College providing education to around 1300 students aged 11 to 19. Our specialisms are in Sport, Mathematics and Computing. We provide our students with excellent facilities and opportunities to equip themselves with life skills. We offer a variety of courses and recreational activities for our students and local primary schools. We are proud of the Ernest Bevin College's history and reputation within our Community.
We are keen to promote continuity and progression. The National Curriculum is divided into 4 stages. Our children progress through Key Stages 1 and 2 in their local primaries. They then progress to secondary school for Key Stage 3. We offer the final stage of compulsory schooling Key Stage 4 and the opportunity to stay on into Post-16 Education.
Our new Post-16 building and sports facilities have been in use by both the College and the local community from January 2007. With our first class facilities and resources we offer an excellent environment for pupils to make excellent academic and social progress.
