Governor Vacancies

Governors play an important role in the life of the college and we would encourage anyone interested to contact the school office to find out more about the role of the Governing Body at Ernest Bevin College. From time to time vacancies arise on the governing body.

ELECTION of PARENT GOVERNOR Voting closes 4pm Wednesday 19th June

Voting forms were sent home on Friday 7th June. Click here to read the accompanying letter. The deadline to vote is 4pm Wednesday 19th June. Please return your voting forms to the school office by this date. Forms received after this date will not be counted.

If you do not receive a voting form please contact the school office on 020 8672 8582 and ask for a replacement form. Each parent or guardian is entitled to vote only once even if you have more than one child at the college.

Visit to Hogarth

We currently have a vacancy for a Parent Governor to join the Governing Body. The closing date for nominations was Thursday 23rd May at 4pm. We received two nominations for the vacancy and so an election is being held (details above).

If you wish to stand for election as a Parent Governor or nominate another parent you will need to fill ina nomination form. To be eligible you must have a child currently on the school roll. Your nomination needs to be supported by another parent with a child at the school and if you are putting someone else forward, you will need to include confirmation that the nominee is willing to stand. If more than two nominations are received a ballot will be held. Please note the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
