Parents
Ernest Bevin recognises the role parents play in ensuring students get the most out of their college experience and we welcome input from you. Parents are invited to attend parents evening and receive a written report and additional letters if necessary. Parents can write in the school planner or telephone the college and leave a message for the tutor or head or year, they will call back as soon as their teaching timetable allows.
If your son is sick and unable to attend college please telephone 0208 672 8582 before 8.30am if possible and leave a message with his name, tutor group and reason for absence.
We also offer courses for parents to improve their own skills. Currently there are courses running in English, Maths and Computing. Contact the college for more information.
1) Improve your English new course starting November 2011, sign up with Ms Lowney. This is a free course.
2) European Computer Driving Licence: gain this recognised computing qualification, contact Mr Chabibi for more information
3) Adult numeracy: improve your maths, on Monday evenings from 530-630pm contact Mr Barkley for further information.
