Enrichment
Learning at our college is not limited to the subjects set down in the National Curriculum. Our pupils can take advantage of a wide range of social, academic and sporting activities during the day, before college, at lunchtimes and every evening.
Education at Ernest Bevin is further enriched by visits to a wide range of museums, art galleries and places of historical interest. At the end of the school year the normal timetable is collapsed for Enrichment week when staff and students take part in a number of enrichment activities.

Forming part of our enrichment programme are the very popular residential multi-activity journeys to outward bound centres around the country which take place each year. There are numerous beneifts -- social, personal and educational including the experience of living away from home and participating in activities as a team. The courses offer pupils a great sense of achievement, building confidence and awareness of personal strengths and abilities which often remain hidden in the classroom.
