Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities are held throughout the year to extend the learning of different groups of students in the college.

Mars Challenge Day

 

A group of Year 9 students took part in Target Mars a Stem challenge activity at Burntwood School. Students were organised into teams representing rival nations in a race to colonise Mars.

Year 8 students spent an afternoon analysing the science behind Santa and worked out the logistics of how long he has at each house and how fast he must fly to deliver all the presents on time.
