Academic Success
Students at Ernest Bevin College are celebrating a record-breaking set of exam results in 2011. 92% of students achieved five or more A*-C grades in their GCSEs with 68% achieveing five or more A*-C GCSEs including English and Maths.
Sixth Formers also had plenty to celebrate with 72% achieving A*-C in their A Level examinations enabling 85% or 95 students in total to go on to universtiy with an average (UCAS) point score of 280.
Both sets of results show another year on year improvement and the College expects results to continue to rise and Mr Chivers, co-Principal says these improvements are all down to "terrific teaching, terrific tutoring and lots of hard work by our students"
